My CF Cycle for Life Story

On January 20th 2023 my sweet Bodhi was born. After a couple days in the hospital in town and under 24 hours of being home he was flown to Sacred Heart. A long hard week of tests we found out he had Cystic Fibrosis. He has a huge team of loving family behind him. His big sweet smile and laughs light up our lives. We are excited to be apart of a supportive community to raise funds for a cure! We are excited for our second walk and all the years to follow! 

I will be Representing my Son and The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as I train for future events! This year and the following year I will also be Participating in the Cycle for Life for the First time! I hope to bring awareness to the CF community and raise all I can for those with CF.

There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis. By participating in CF Cycle for Life, I am helping to end this disease for thousands of people impacted by CF.

Cystic fibrosis affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. The symptoms can vary from person to person, and as people with CF live longer than ever before, their disease can become more complicated, leading to serious health issues.  

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has made extraordinary progress — including fostering the development of more than a dozen CF treatments — but these treatments are not a cure and not everyone can benefit from them. We must keep going.
