Kaylee‘s Health improved dramatically in November 2019 when she started Trikafta and she no longer needed to continue with the work up for a double lung transplant…we were over the moon with gratitude The fight did not stop there though; Kaylee‘s cough has returned, which is concerning, however, her lung function does seem to be holding steady, which we are so thankful for.

There are multitude of other unpleasant physical symptoms that Kaylee continues to have to endure as a result of this progressive genetic disease. Because Kaylee is so strong, others often do not realize the hardships that she faces on a daily basis.

Also, there are still many with cystic fibrosis who have more rare genotypes that still do not have a modulator like Trikafta; My heart breaks for those that are still living the life that Kaylee was before starting this amazing medication.

We will not stop until CF stands for cure found!
