Our Cycle for Life Story

Hello Friends and Family!

Join Team Torque and help us get one step closer to a cure for cystic fibrosis – a rare, genetic, life-shortening disease that makes it difficult to breathe. There are 3 ways to participate:

As a Rider! Select "Join Our Team" to register for this event on my team. Riders are encouraged to fundraise but there is no minimum amount because every dollar counts! A suggested goal is $165 - ask me why!

As a Volunteer! We need 40-50 volunteers to make this a fun and safe event for all. Make me look good as the Volunteer Co-Chair for this event by signing up to help out! There are many different roles from set up to clean up, rest stops and SAG vehicle drivers and more. As a Financial Contributor! Have neither a bike to ride nor the time to volunteer? No problem! This is a fundraising event and your donation in any amount helps us realize our shared dream – a cure for every person living with CF. Click "Donate to a Team Member" to help us reach our team goal of raising $1,000. 

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation continues to lead the way in the fight against CF, fueling extraordinary medical and scientific progress. The life expectancy of someone born with CF has doubled in the last 30 years, now reaching an average of 44 years. There are more adults with CF than children now. Despite this progress, many people with CF do not benefit from existing therapies either because their disease is too advanced or because their specific genetic mutations will not respond. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends, and co-workers who struggle every day in the face of this devasting disease. 

I participate in CF Cycle for Life because a friend asked me. So that those with CF can make as many friendships as possible, I continue to stay involved. Won't you join me?
