Welcome to my Page
I like to ride my bike, but I wouldn't call myself a cyclist. That's a term I feel is reserved for those who ride regularly and have all the right gear. I've just got a helmet, water bottle, and 20+ year old mountain bike that sees more pavement than trails. But some call me a cyclist at least one day a year - the day I ride in support of those with cystic fibrosis at the Cycle for Life event. This is a unique event that empowers me, along with other cyclists from our region and across the nation, to take action and help find a cure for cystic fibrosis.
There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe. I plan to ride my old, heavy mountain bike 15+ miles for them on October 19th from Dorey Park on the Capital Trail. I invite you to ride with me, volunteer at the event, and/or support my fundraising goal. Together, we can make CF stand for Cure Found.
I'm amazed by the real progress that has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. We’ve come so far, but there’s still so much work to do.
Please support me!
We are at a pivotal moment in the history of cystic fibrosis and your support matters. With your help, we can invest our resources in research today, while raising funds for tomorrow, to ensure we have what it takes to reach the finish line. Please help me reach my fundraising goal by donating to my CF Cycle for Life fundraising campaign today!
