Welcome to my Page
Dear Friends,
Once again I will participate in the Cycle For Life ride this year, in loving memory of Audrey Kay. The western Richmond half of The Capital Trail will again be the location of this year’s event, and Dorey Park the venue . I’ve written much about Audrey Kay’s love for the trail and my own experiences on it.
Like previous years I’ll ride the 65 mile option on the event date of October 19th from Dorey Park, Richmond, which intersects with the trail. I’m hoping you can help in reaching my fundraising goal. These funds will help the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation with vital research to improve the lives of those fighting CF and one day finding a cure. Donations have funded research leading to breakthroughs like Trikafta, a triple combination therapy that helps the majority of CF patients to maintain lung function and bring more tomorrows to them and their families, friends and loved ones. The CFF has said the average life span of a CFer has climbed to age 58, so progress is continuing, but the ultimate goal is a cure.
Your gift is completely tax deductible. Thank you to those who have donated in the past and for those who decide to contribute this year.

Donating is easy and secure. Any amount is appreciated; not only by me but also to the many living with CF. Supporting this event and all CFF event helps in providing education, treatments and progress toward a cure.
With your support we can make CF stand for “Cure Found”.
Read more about CF and the CF Foundation below…
Cystic fibrosis is a rare, genetic disease found in about 30,000 people in the U.S. causing persistent lung infections and limiting the ability to breath over time. Those living with this disease are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends, and co-workers --all struggling each day just to breathe and live normal, healthy lives.
Sixty years ago, most children with cystic fibrosis did not live long enough to attend elementary school, but thanks to Foundation-based research and care, many people with CF are living into their forties. Because of tremendous advancements in research, treatments, and care from support of countless donors, many people with CF are living long enough to realize their dreams of attending college, pursuing careers, getting married, and having kids.
While there has been significant progress in treating this disease, there is still no cure and too many lives are cut far too short. By participating in CF Cycle for Life, I ride to help add tomorrows to the lives of all people living with cystic fibrosis today. Please make a difference and support me by donating to my CF Cycle for Life fundraising campaign today!
CF Cycle for Life is a unique event that empowers me, along with other cyclists across the nation to take action and help find a cure for cystic fibrosis...
Please help me reach my fundraising goal and donate an amount that is meaningful to you!
