Our CF Cycle for Life Story

Our sweet daughter Lindy has Cystic Fibrosis (CF). 

Cystic fibrosis affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. The symptoms and severity differ from person to person. Lindy has been diagnosed with the F508del variant, one of the most commonly severe cases. 

There is no cure for cystic fibrosis, at least not yet, and by participating in CF Cycle for Life, I am hoping to take part--however small--in helping to advance the likelihood of us finding a cure to CF in the near future.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has made extraordinary progress—including fostering the development of more than a dozen CF treatments—but these treatments are not a cure and not everyone can benefit from them, so we must keep fighting.
