I CAN RIDE A PEDAL BIKE!

Octavia ("Tavie") loves riding her bike. When she started on her pedal bike, Tavie was a purple blur racing around our neighborhood yelling to everyone "I CAN RIDE A PEDAL BIKE!"

Now she's in kindergarten and a regular on the bike bus--she likes to speed ahead of the leader on the final stretch to be the very first kid to school.

And thanks to CF Foundation funded research, she's part of the first generation of people with CF in human history with a real chance of living until old age. And not just surviving but living with all the energy and passion she brings to riding her pedal bike.
