My CF Climb Story

Greetings!

Thanks to generous donors and volunteers, the CF Foundation has made remarkable progress over the past six decades. People with CF are living longer than in the past, yet we still lose precious young lives every day.

My son Andrew continues to do remarkably well and lives a full life that we could not have imagined ten years ago. He travels the world with just a backpack and a carry on, plus a lot of other things that cause his mother lots of stress - just check out the video! Although I am not sure I agree he should be jumping off cliffs, drinking large beers at Octoberfest in Germany, or scuba diving, I am so thankful that he has the opportunity to do the the things he loves.

Unfortunately, not everyone with CF benefits from the newer treatments and we still don't have a cure. That is why I continue to fund raise.
