2024 39th Annual Tower Climb and Run

About Our CF Climb

This event is THE most unique athletic challenge fundraising event anywhere in San Antonio! Where else can one run 1-mile followed by running the 952 steps to the top of the Tower of the Americas? Answer: only here and only at this once-a-year event!

How to Participate:

COMPETIVELY TIMED - Each person will run 1 mile, wears a chipped timed bib, and races to the top of the Tower to the Observation Deck/Finish Line.

NON-COMPETITIVE / NON-TIMED - No chipped time bib and no 1 mile run before. Participants will climb the Tower at their own pace.

FIRST RESPONDERS TIMED - Chipped bib, Tower climb only

Please be sure to select COMPETITIVE or NON-COMPETITIVE during registration. If you change your mind and would like to change your participation status, please notify chapter. Last day to change and receive a chipped bib is Wednesday, January 24, 2023.


Participants under the age of 10 are not allowed at the CFF Tower Climb.

All minors (Children ages 11 - 15) can participate with an adult.

Children ages 16 and over can participate without an adult.

Registration Fees & Schedule:


Participants who would like to pay their own $100 fundraising minimum, may do so during registration by making a self-donation on the first page of registration via an additional gift.

Early Bird Special

06/1/2023 - 8/1/2023: $0 Registration Fee + $100 Fundraising Minimum (Total $100)

8/02/2023 - 10/02/2023: $20 Registration Fee + $100 Fundraising Minimum (Total $120)

10/3/2023-12/31/2023: $30 Registration Fee + $100 Fundraising Minimum (Total $130)

1/1/2024 - 1/17/2024: $40 Registration Fee + $100 Fundraising Minimum (Total $140)

Packet Pick-Up Registration: (1/17,1/18 & 1/22,1/23) $60 Registration Fee + $100 Fundraising Minimum (Total $160)

Day of Event Registration: $100 Registration Fee + $100 Fundraising Minimum (Total $200)

Please note: Day of Event registered participants will only be able to participate as NON-COMPETITIVE. Chipped bibs will not be available at the event.

Fundraising Minimum: $100.00 (Registration fees are not included in fundraising minimum.)

Minimum Pledge Requirement Policy: The minimum pledge requirement of $100 is due before or during packet pick-up days. If you have met your minimum pledge by the day of the event, we encourage you to keep fundraising. Reach for the stars and earn great prizes. Even though the minimum is due by the day of the event, you have one month after the event to earn great CF Climb prizes. The average amount a participant raises is $330. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable and do not count towards your fundraising minimum. Thank you for adding tomorrows for people with cystic fibrosis.
