My CF Climb Story
I swear Leo is in that carrier!
Here we are!
Dear Friends and Family,
We did it! Thursday, under a welcome cloud cover, CF Climbers conquered those dreaded steps at Coors Field. Temps were still in the 90's, but a positive vibe carried everyone up and down the stairs as the Denver chapter raised over $77,000 to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
John, Chelsea, Ally, Mickey, and Jack ran the stairs, with 5-year old Jack climbing every single step. Good friends Cody and Brianna Harter did, too. The best had to be John carrying Leo in a hiking carrier on his back the whole time. So technically, Leo becomes the youngest to successfully complete the climb!
My job was to hang with 3-year old Ava. So we climbed, she explored, I chased, and definitely got my steps in. Jolly had a gig and missed Climb for the first time.
Your support, year after year, means so much to us. So many people living with CF struggle like I do after 5 sets of stairs. Your love and care really do add tomorrows to so many lives.
With gratitude and love,
Janet and Jolly
