My CF Climb Story

On July 27th, my colleagues at National Jewish Health and I are going to climb in an effort to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Foundation. 

CF is a devastating disease that resulted in children often not living through adolescence through the 1990s. Dedicated clinicians, researchers, and families banded together to fund and develop groundbreaking treatments that have resulted in people with CF living well into adulthood, living largely normal lives. However, we’re not done yet! Not everyone has access to the same types of treatment due to CF genetics and there is still no cure. So, we fundraise!

Together, my colleagues and I, are working to find a cure for CF, and also to provide all people with CF the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment, and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care.

My fundraising goal is $650.00. Ask me sometime the meaning of the number 65 for the CF community. It's special, and so is the CF community to me.
