My CF Climb Story

I'm so excited you're here and willing to climb stairs or donate in honor of my awesome cousin, Alex! Alex lives in New Jersery but is a big Colorado Sports fan, so this is a fun way for him and I to connect despite the distance.

Alex is 28 years old and doing really well, the medicine he's taking now has dramatically changed his health and abilities to live a more normal life. Crazy people like us who climb stairs and raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's research efforts are making a huge impact in Alex's life along with the 30,000+ people who live with CF.

So start training those calf muscles for this unique event at Coors Field or if you don't want to do the stairs, any donation would be greatly appreciated and will motivate me and my team to finish strong on July 27th!

Cystic fibrosis is a rare, life-shortening, genetic disease found in about 30,000 people in the U.S., which causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breath over time. Those living with this disease are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends, andco-workers – all struggling each day just to breathe and live normal, healthy lives.

Sixty years ago, most children with cystic fibrosis did not live long enough to attend elementary school, but thanks to Foundation-based research and care, many people with CF are now living into their forties –achieving milestones once thought not possible, such as attending college, pursuing careers, and having a family of their own.

While there has been significant progress in treating thisdisease, there is still no cure and too many lives are cut far too short. Byparticipating in CF Climb, I am helping add tomorrows to the lives of all peopleliving with CF today.
