My CF Climb Story

My friends and I from high school are coming together to honor the memory of one of our best friends, Ethan, who we lost to cystic fibrosis (CF). Ethan was one of the kindest, funniest, and most genuine people I’ve ever known. His laughter and spirit touched everyone around him, and his memory drives us to make a difference.

We’re supporting this event not only to remember Ethan but to raise awareness and vital support in the fight against CF. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, working hand in hand with the CF community, has achieved remarkable progress, developing more than a dozen CF treatments and adding years to the lives of people with this disease. But there’s still much to be done.

Not everyone with CF can benefit from existing treatments, and we’re dedicated to changing that. Our vision is a cure for every person with CF—a future where no one has to endure the burdens of this disease. With your support, we can take meaningful steps toward this goal, ensuring that no one is left behind.
