My CF Climb Story
There are nearly 40,000 people in the United States have cystic fibrosis: a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs.
I am climbing for my best friend Maddy Palmer. We met in first grade and were nurse buddies. I'd walk with her down to the nurse for her treatments and she would walk with me when I was experiencing a low blood sugar. Since then, we have supported each other every step of the way. Maddy amazes me every day - from her extremely busy life - to always making time to get her daily workout in - just to stay healthy, challenge herself, and fight CF. "Never give up, Work Hard, Show up, and prioritize your health".
So I climb for Maddy <3
Working alongside the CF community, the CF Foundation has fostered the development of more than a dozen CF treatments and helped add decades of life for people with CF. Yet, many people with CF do not benefit from existing therapies. Our vision is a cure for every person with cystic fibrosis – a life free from the burden of this disease – and we will not leave anyone behind.
Please support me!
By supporting my fundraising goal, you have an opportunity in your lifetime to be part of ending this disease. Please consider joining us and help make medical history.
