My CF Climb Story
There are nearly 40,000 people in the United States who are living with Cystic Fibrosis: a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. They are sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, nephews and friends who face the sobering prospect of a shortened lifespan. I climb for them.
My cousin's son Lucas is the reason I got involved with the CF Foundation. Lucas is now 17 years old and is in very good health thanks to medical advances that have occurred since he was born. These medical advancements were possible because of fund raising efforts such as this Climb.
