Milwaukee CF Climb 2020 - Virtual Event

IMPORTANT NOTE: To protect the health and well-being of the cystic fibrosis community and CF Foundation staff during the COVID-19 outbreak, the cystic fibrosis community is finding new ways to come together through virtual experiences. While we will not be together in person, we can be together in spirit and participate virtually - showing the strength of our community and passion to find a cure for all people living with cystic fibrosis.

How do I participate?

Register to Participate Virtually.

Register and participate virtually in the 65 Roses Challenge, and help us stay the course and advance our mission in an uncertain time. While we can’t be together in person, we can be together in spirit and participate virtually - showing the strength of our community and passion to find a cure for all people living with cystic fibrosis.

Recruit.

Recruit others to participate with you (at a safe distance or even from another state). Now that we are virtual, you can participate anywhere!

Fundraise.

Fundraise online by leveraging the tools in the Participant Center, the mobile app, and Fundraise on Facebook to reach your goal. Create a virtual passion fundraising event by developing a fundraising event through your favorite hobby, activity, or passion.

Take the Challenge.

Beginning Sunday, August 2 through Monday, October 5, we are challenging you to Walk, Run, Hike and/or Climb 65 miles in 65 days!

Join us on Strava (CF Foundation Wisconsin 65 Roses Challenge Club) to track your activity so we can all participate together, even though this year we will have to be apart. This will allow us to track your progress along the way and add you to our leaderboard! If you would prefer not to use Strava, you can use this paper calendar to document your efforts and then submit this formstack at the end of each week to share your weekly progress!

Stay tuned for fun weekly fitness and fundraising challenges, mission moment photos and videos, CF education, motivational tips and more! We CAN’T wait to take on this challenge with YOU!

Share your Journey.

Wear your CF Foundation branded apparel, custom team t-shirt, or a past Great Strides/CF Climb/Xtreme Hike shirt while you walk, run, hike and/or climb. Share how you’re participating in the 65 Roses Challenge by sharing your story and posting a selfie on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Make sure to tag the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (@CF_Foundation) and Wisconsin Chapter (@CFF_Wisconsin) and use the hashtags: #GreatStrides; #65RosesChallenge and #Together65 to keep the energy and momentum going strong!

Celebrate!

We want to celebrate you and your participation in the 65 Roses Challenge! At the conclusion of your event you’ll receive a certificate of completion and the option to redeem a reward 30 days post event. Share your success on social media by tagging the CF Foundation (@CF_Foundation) and use the hashtags: #GreatStrides; #65RosesChallenge or #Together65 to let everyone know you completed your 65 Roses Challenge.
