My CF Climb Story

Dear Family and Friends,

I am participating in the Cystic Fibrosis Stair Climb with my teammates on the Eastside Catholic High School Lacrosse Teams.  Nearly 40,000 people in the United States have Cystic Fibrosis: a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs.  They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who face the sobering prospect of a shortened lifespan.

We are also climbing for our teammate, Molly Hamilton, who was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis as a new born.  Molly takes roughly 30 pills a day to manage her CF symptoms and does various forms of lung therapy to clear and protect her lungs. These medicines have been a life saver and are possible because of the research and science that has largely been funded by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. These events are largely why Molly has been able to thrive with CF.

I am excited to have the EC lacrosse community partner with the CF Foundation this year through the CF Stair Climb, on September 26th at T-Mobile Park.

Please support me!

By supporting my CF Stair Climb fundraising efforts, you have an opportunity to be part of ending this disease. Please consider joining us and help make medical history.

Thank you so much!
