With the support of our friends and family, TEAM MORGAN has raised over $85,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation over the first decade of Morgan's life. I invite you to join TEAM MORGAN at Doko Meadows Park in Blythewood (100 Alvina Haygood Circle, Blythewood, SC 29016) on May 4, 2019 at 10 am as we gather in support of curing cystic fibrosis.
Morgan was diagnosed with CF shortly after birth and we couldn't be more pleased to have been approved in November 2016 to start Orkambi which is the first medication ever designed to treat the underlying cause of CF. This medicine would NOT be available if it weren't for the generousity of the donors to Great Strides!! With Orkambi Morgan has managed to keep her lung function above 100%!! The improvements have also allowed Morgan to avoid sinus surgery which was becoming an annual event. Although this is fantastic news, the work is not yet done. Morgan still spends over an hour doing breathing treatments and takes handfuls of medication EVERY DAY. We will continue to fundraise until there is a true cure for all those suffering with CF!
Please donate today, even if it's just a couple bucks, to help us continue fighting the good fight.May one day soon we all celebrate a cure for CF!
