Tavie is healthy, well, and energetic. She loves riding her bike and yelling "I CAN RIDE A PEDAL BIKE" at everyone she passes.

She's been taking Trikafta for a year via a drug study, and now that it has been approved for her age group, she'll be switching to the standard prescribed drug.

We still are wary of her frequent respiratory infections, and had to spend 10 days in the hospital for an IV antibiotic 'clean-out' this past fall.

As happy as we are for treatment advances like Trikafta, we are impatient for a cure, and treatment for all people with CF, esp. those for whom Trikafta (and similar) do not work.
