Our Great Strides Story

Welcome to Claire's Crew!

Claire is an energetic and fun-loving 7-year-old. Some of her favorite things include playing soccer, tap dancing, gymnastics, swimming, drawing, hopping around on her pogo stick and playing with friends. In between it all, Claire is living with cystic fibrosis.

Cystic fibrosis affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Claire's daily routine involves taking multiple medications and completing treatments to help her stay as healthy as possible.  The symptoms can vary from person to person, and as people with CF live longer than ever before, their disease can become more complicated, leading to serious health issues. 

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has made extraordinary progress — including fostering the development of more than a dozen CF treatments — but these treatments are not a cure and not everyone can benefit from them. We must keep going.

We walk for a cure for all people with cystic fibrosis. By joining our team, you can help us end this disease!
