Bristol is an energetic and happy 7 year old princess. She was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis as a newborn after having emergency surgery for meconium ileus, a bowel obstruction that is common in cf infants. She loves dress up and putting on musical performances for her family. She also enjoys exploring the outdoors, swimming, animals, arts and crafts, shopping, and being a "nosy rosy."
She has the double delta F508 mutations and in January 2019 started Orkambi. In 2022 after her 6th birthday she was able to start TRIKAFTA!
Currently she is active in soccer and wrestling. She won The Golden Heart award in her school last year. This year she is excelling in 1st grade. She is a master reader already, but her favorite subjects are science and PE. We are in awe of her positive attitude and compliance to her cf care at such a young age.
Bristol’s Pistols is a National Family Team with people walking in Washington, Indiana, New York, Arkansas, and Florida in her honor.
