Hello,
Amazingly enough, the Great Strides walk is scheduled for May 5th!! We (at least our family, can't speak for others) will be very careful by socially distancing, wearing masks, etc. Masks are not required, but greatly appreciated. Also, I am asking that if you aren't vaccinated, maybe register as a virtual walker this year and wait till next year to come in person. This will make it even safer for all, especially CF'ers like Andrew that are more likely to get sick if exposed.
If you just would like to donate, that would be excellent also. Donations help fund the research into new medications. On Andrew's birthday this year, he was able to transfer over to Trikafta, a newer gene modification medication. Trikafta was just authorized for those 6-11 years old in June 2021, so we got him on it as soon as we could.
If you can't afford to donate, we totally understand. Covid has been very hard on so many people, and we don't want anyone to feel obligated to donate. Something you can do that doesn't cost anything is to keep us and everyone that will be at the event in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you again for your participation! Your deep commitment to our mission has driven remarkable progress and gives us extraordinary hope for the future. Together, we will make CF stand for Cure Found.
