Team Reis

Team Reis was set up when Reis was born. This will be our 11th year. Reis is a happy, healthy 10 year old girl with boundless energy, exuberance and sunshine. When she was born , she required major surgery and a prolonged NICU stay of almost 3 months. 

Today Reis is healthy thanks to her “magic medications “.  Reis was extremely lucky that she was able to start on Kalydeco at 2 and Trikafta at 6 years old, thus sparing her many of the ravages of CF. Both medications were produced with major funding from the CF foundation and have changed the course of many patients with CF. Currently the life expectancy is placed at 60 years or more for those on these medications. 

Sadly some people cannot benefit from these medications and research continues for more medications and a cure. Our team is driven by a dream that one day, every person with cystic fibrosis will have the chance to live a long, healthy life. You can help us reach that goal!
