Dear Friends and Family,
"The journey to end cystic fibrosis isn't a straight line. It is an evolving map with many paths and unique challenges. It requires an ambitious research agenda to accelerate treatments and drug development for the underlying cause of the disease and ultimately deliver a cure."[1] It also includes the work of maintaining access to affordable health care and these treatments.
Your support of our Great Strides Fundraising has helped Colin map a pathway to a healthy future! When Colin was diagnosed with CF at age 4 in 1999, the median life expectancy was about 21 years old. Now as Colin approaches his 29th birthday the life expectancy has increased to 56 and is increasing rapidly! Thank you for making this possible!
Colin continues to stay extremely healthy, cycling 100+ miles/week, rock climbing, snowboarding and enjoying life with Rachel and Georgia. Rachel and Colin plan to be married in October of 2025!
Would you please make a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to help expand healthy tomorrows for Colin and all with CF?
In this 26th year of fundraising for the CF Foundation, we remain hopeful for continued success in treatments and therapies and eventually (soon!) a cure. Thank you for walking this pathway with us!
In gratitude,
John, Claire, Colin, and Rachel
