Our Great Strides Story
Its hard to believe that this is the 15th year that Team Rosie's Roses will be walking in Great Strides. From a cute 4 year old walking in Southwicks Zoo to a freshman in college...where has the time gone?! This is a momentous year for us as Rosie is nearly finished her freshman year in college! When Rosie was born and diagnosed with Cf we were told that the life expectancy at the time was 18 years. It is your support for research for a cure that has helped improve the life expectancy for Rosie and the thousands of people who have CF. Great progress has been made in the treatment of Cystic fibrosis but there is still no cure for Rosie. As you probably know, Rosie has been doing well and manages her Cf but extra diagnosis of Arthritis has been very challenging.
The lives of people with CF are still cut far too short and daily life can be very challenging at times. There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis but there is still is no cure for this devastating disease. You can support me by joining Team Rosies Roses at Mine Falls, Nashua on May 20th. Great Strides is a fun, family-friendly event that raises awareness and support for people with CF and their families.
If you cannot join us but would like to donate, your gift is 100-percent tax deductible. Your gift will help add tomorrows to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis by supporting life-saving research and medical progress. As always, thanks a million for your support over the years! We really appreciate it!
