My Team CF Story
For the fourteenth year I am volunteering and participating in the New England Classic Charity Trail Ride to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis research. And joining the frey for the first time is my son Connor. After four years of riding the kids classic he's looking forward to the challenge! The two day, 200-mile trail ride is sponsored by the Merrimack Valley Trail Riders will be run June 8th and 9th. Through the generous, collaborative efforts of the sponsors, participants and the Merrimack Valley Trail Riders, $2,492,000 has been raised to support cystic fibrosis research. Ninety cents of every dollar we raise for CFF goes directly to research. Since the inception of the trail ride, the average life span of a CF patient has gone up from 12 to 35 years of age and the genetic code of the disease has been unlocked. In addition to its success as a unique special event, this trail ride also serves to promote the responsible use of OHRV’s for the benefit of trail riders, landowners, clubs, associations and motorcycle manufacturers.
Please consider sponsoring my efforts to help brighten the future for thousands of children and young adults who live with this genetic disease. This is the only event I chase money for all year because I have had ties to people that had the disease. I want to help find a cure. Last year I raised $1,200 of the $101,000 total. I would like to top that this year. All donations are tax deductible and are greatly appreciated.
Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those with cystic fibrosis. Thank you for supporting the mission of the CF Foundation!
