About Xtreme Hike
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Xtreme Hike program takes hikers through some of the most scenic trails in the nation to raise funds and awareness for cystic fibrosis.
Xtreme Hike, Yosemite, is a pledge based fundraising, 20 or 22 mile, day hike. This year, for the first time ever, participants may choose between two hikes - their beloved trek to the top of El Capitan or journey through new terrain on the Glacier Point Trail/Sentinel Dome. All hikers will enjoy accommodations for three days/two nights at the Yosemite Valley Lodge. This includes an energizing, pre-hike pasta party, a post-hike "finisher" BBQ, and a victory/awards brunch at the famed Ahwahnee Hotel. Hikers are asked to raise a minimum of $3,000 in pledges through their personal and social media campaigns. Group training hikes and clinics are held monthly around the greater bay area starting in May. Xtreme Hike is limited to 64 hikers, so reserve your spot today!

It is highly recommended that hikers make a starter donation of $100 or more to jumpstart their fundraising. Once registered, Stephen will contact you to provide the Xtreme Hike Binder, which is full of useful information about the hike and the training calendar. This will help you find the right gear, learn new exercises, and help you fundraise to accomplish this amazing feat.
