Xtreme Hike, Grand Canyon, is an event that will raise critical funds for cystic fibrosis as well as create an environment where participants can tackle hiking one of the wonders of the world. It will consist of a 21-mile one-day hike. The Arizona Chapter will be taking hikers from the north rim to to the south rim. All hikers will enjoy accommodations for three days/two nights at a Grand Canyon hotel. This includes an energizing, pre-hike pasta party on Friday night, and a victory/awards breakfast on Sunday before you return home. In order to participate, hikers have a suggested minimum fundraise of $3,000 in pledges. This amount can raised by sending a letter writing campaign, requesting donations on facebook, email, you can host a fundraising event. This will be a great and rewarding weekend for everyone involved!
