Our Xtreme Hike Story
The Filters Fast Team (John Osterhoudt, Denis Coombes, Paul Kauer, Ray Hill, and Ray Scardigno) will challenge themselves mentally and physically by hiking 30.1 miles of the Appalachian Trail in 1 day on April 27th, 2019 to help raise money to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Months of training and your generous support will help us achieve our goal of $30,000 raised and successfully completing the hike.
Last year, team Filters Fast raised an amazing $27,899 to help fight CF! This year we have raised the bar and hope to raise $30,000. Will your help support our hike by making a tax deductible donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation?
There are 30,000 Americans living with Cystic Fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, friends and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. We hike for them, to raise critical funds needed to advance research and to find a cure — will you support us and help find a cure?
We invite you to make a tax deductible donation and help us raise funds to support the CF Foundation’s mission of finding a cure and improving the lives of those living with CF.
Xtreme Hike is a unique event that empowers hikers to take action and demonstrate their fight in finding a cure for cystic fibrosis in a tangible, emotional and powerful way.
