Thank you for joining and/or donating to TEAM BRANCH! By donating you can help add tomorrows for those with Cystic Fibrosis.
Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited life-threatening disorder that damages the lungs and digestive system. Cystic fibrosis affects the cells that produce mucus, sweat, and digestive juices. It causes these fluids to become thick and sticky. They then plug up tubes, ducts, and passageways.
Anyone can be born with this disease. Two very dear people in the Branch family, who struggle with the disease, are my grandson, Giovanni and my granddaughter, Briaja. TEAM BRANCH walks for them! Will you join us?
All you need to do to become a member of TEAM BRANCH is click on the "JOIN OUR TEAM" button and there you can make a donation and/or start your own fundraising.
By becoming a member of TEAM BRANCH, and making a donation, you are joining a growing group of people committed to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis. Together, we are adding tomorrows to the lives of Giovanni & Briaja and all those people living with CF.
Join us at the Great Strides Walk! It is a fun, family-friendly event that raises awareness and support for people with CF and their families.
Join TEAM BRANCH on Saturday, June 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Old Storybook Island in Rapid City for our Great Strides Fundraiser and WALK FOR A CURE!
Important note on Attendance at Foundation Events:
Infections can exacerbate CF symptoms and worsen lung function, so we ask attendees at Foundation-sponsored events to observe the following best practices to reduce the risk of germ transmission:
Regularly wash hands with soap and water or with an alcohol-based hand gel.
Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your inner elbow.
Maintain a safe 6-foot distance from anyone with a cold or infection.
To further reduce the risk of cross-infection, the Foundation’s attendance policy recommends that all people with CF maintain a safe 6-foot distance from each other at all times while attending an outdoor Foundation-sponsored event. All Great Strides walks are non-smoking events.
