My Great Strides Story
I was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when I was two months old. Living with cystic fibrosis is challenging but I thank God for the strength He gives me to thrive in spite of my struggles.
Real progress has been made in the search for a cure, and many new treatments have become available in the past decades that have provided quality of life and extended the lives of many CF patients. Even so, we have a long way to go.
There still is no cure for this disease, but there is exciting research being done. I am walking today to show my commitment to support CF research. I am also walking in memory of my sister Sheri who died from CF-related complications in 2004, and as a pledge to continue fighting the good fight and making the most of this wonderful life I've been given. Please consider supporting me by making a donation to my Great Strides fundraising campaign today! Your gift will help add tomorrows to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis by supporting life-saving research and medical progress. Your gift is 100-percent tax deductible.
Great Strides is a fun, family-friendly event that raises awareness and support for people with CF and their families.
