I am excited to have been nominated as a contestant in the ninth annual Mr. Brewster "Spactacular" at Brewster High School. Mr. Brewster is a beauty pageant for male BHS seniors. On March 1st, The Brewster High School S.A.L.T.Y. Hands club will host this worthwhile event that will give hope and make a difference in the lives of children and young adults who battle Cystic Fibrosis every day.
All of the money raised by this beauty pageant benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to fund research to control and find a cure for CF. Cystic Fibrosis is a life-threatening disease that affects 30,000 people in the U. S., and approximately 10 million people are symptomless carriers of the CF gene. Currently there is no cure, but real progress is being made because of remarkable scientific and medical breakthroughs. With our help, we can make CF stand for CURE FOUND!
It is our hope that our 9th Annual "Mr. Brewster Spectacular" will be entertaining and more importantly, a big success. If you could kindly help me to reach my goal, it would be greatly appreciated, not only by myself, but by all of us who are working to give hope and help those who battle Cystic Fibrosis daily.
