Dear Friends and Family,
My dear grandchildren, Colt and Willow, were both born with Cystic Fibrosis (CF).
Cystic Fibrosis is a devastating genetic disease that primarily affects the lungs and pancreas of about 30,000 children and young adults in the United States.
Research supported by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) is finding new medicines to help those with CF.
Thanks to amazing breakthroughs funded by donors like you, many people with CF are living longer and healthier lives than they ever expected. Colt and Willow will be able to join the new drug trials next year when they test the 6-11 age group. But in order to find a cure for all those living with this disease more research is crucial.
Aja's Amigos will be participating in the Great Strides Walk in several different states. My walk will be in Mansfield on Sunday, May 19 at the Carousel Park.
What you can do to help me is join our team and help the CFF by donating whatever you are able. If you already have a shirt, wear it to raise awareness about Cystic Fibrosis.
Colt and Willow have appreciated your generosity during these past years and they have helped make a new video to show you their progress as they are continuing to do their daily routine of treatments.
We are hoping you will help us get closer to a cure to help Colt and Willow live longer and healthier lives every day.
Iona and Tony Flores
