My Great Strides Story
My name is Eric Shainock and I am a graduate student at Ohio University in the Sport Administration program. We raise money for Cystic Fibrosis as a class as a part of Race for a Reason. I am fundraising for Lilly Straley, a six year old girl living in Athens, OH, who suffers from a rare form of Cystic Fibrosis. She has lung treatments twice a day, five different medicines a day, and over 100 pills a week. Cystic Fibrosis is a disease that receives no federal funding from the government, so it relies solely on donations. Right now, there is no cure, so the money goes directly to funding research for a cure for lilly and others like her.
Here is a video of Lilly (can be seen above)- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ds9n99aosJM&feature=youtu.be
If you are able to donate, you can here or directly on my Cystic Fibrosis page at (open in a new browser):
Every dollar goes to being one step closer to finding a cure for Lilly so she can live a long and healthy life! Please help me help her and her family!
