About Our Walk
Welcome to Madison Great Strides 2017!
We’re excited for another year of walking and making ‘great strides’ together. Our Madison community actively supports and encourages one another and this day offers a great opportunity to share that positive attitude and our mission with so many people. All of the family and friends coming together over Great Strides represents the love and support we cultivate as a community and shows how dedicated we are to finding a cure. We look forward to continuing that tradition of mutual support and encouragement again in 2017.
This year, Madison Great Strides has moved to Fireman’s Park in Middleton away from the Warner Park. We moved here to give us access to some great walking paths in the Pheasant Branch Trail, a fun and engaging park in Middleton and room to grow with Middleton High School next door. We know that this move will help create an even better atmosphere for our families to enjoy. Walk day will be a fun, family-oriented event with an easy 5 k, children's activities, food and festivities.
Thank you to all of our past, present and future families, fundraisers, volunteers and friends that help make this event possible. The Foundation and your event director Tim will be keeping in contact with everyone with emails, phone calls and Facebook Updates. Good luck to your teams and see you on the 7th!
