Growing up, I had an amazing best friend. Lori was kind, funny, out-going, & just the best person to be around. She also had Cystic Fibrosis. We lost Lori to the disease last year at the age of 49. The incredible advances made in treatment of CF allowed her to bless this world with her smile & her heart for far longer than was expected when we were younger. In order to honor Lori's memory & continue the fight to find a cure, I am participating in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Great Strides Walk on May 18th in Greenville, SC.
There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe. Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure and many lives are cut far too short. We’ve come so far, but there’s still so much work to do. I will not stop until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. Will you join me? Please consider donating to my Great Strides fundraising campaign today! Your gift will help add tomorrows to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis by supporting groundbreaking research and medical progress towards a cure. Please help me reach my fundraising goal!

Important note on Attendance at Foundation Events:
Infections can exacerbate CF symptoms and worsen lung function, so we ask attendees at Foundation-sponsored events to observe the following best practices to reduce the risk of germ transmission:
To further reduce the risk of cross-infection, the Foundation’s attendance policy recommends that all people with CF maintain a safe 6-foot distance from each other at all times while attending an outdoor Foundation-sponsored event. All Great Strides walks are non-smoking events.
