Welcome to my Page
Cystic fibrosis is a rare, genetic disease found in about 30,000 people in the U.S. causing persistent lung infections and limiting the ability to breath over time.
My coworkers and I from Stanford Children's Hospital have formed a team named 'Lungs and Roses' and we're doing a 40 mile bike ride to honor the CF kiddos we treat and in memory of the kiddos who lost their battle with CF.
Sixty years ago, most children with cystic fibrosis did not live long enough to attend elementary school, but thanks to Foundation-based research and care, many people with CF are living into their forties.
While there has been significant progress in treating this disease, there is still no cure and too many lives are cut far too short. By participating in CF Cycle for Life, I ride to help add tomorrows to the lives of all people living with cystic fibrosis today.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal and donate an amount that is meaningful to you!
Thank you so much!
