Welcome to my Page
I have always been extremely proud of and amazed by my son, Ian, and all that he has accomplished thus far in his 20 years. He has never let his cystic fibrosis define him and many have had no idea he has CF. He takes wonderful care of himself and has show a high level of responsibility for his own health from an early age. He has always stayed active and pushed himself to be his best either through sports (swimming, running, biking, soccer) or academics or really in all areas of his life. It is him that motivates me to stay active and exercise! If he can swim collegiately and complete an Olympic Triathlon, then there is no excuse for me not to try to stay active and push myself to meet my fitness goals. There is nothing more that I wish for him than to find a cure!!! By participating in CF Cycle for life, I am trying to do a small part to make that happen!
There are approximately 30,000 people living in the United States with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. I ride for my son and everyone effected by this disease, and hope that you will support me in my efforts.
Although tremendous progress has been made in the search for a permanent cure for cystic fibrosis, the lives of people with CF are still cut far too short. There still is no cure for this devastating disease. By cycling, I am helping add tomorrows to the lives of all people living with cystic fibrosis. Will you join me? Support me by making a donation to my CF Cycle for Life fundraising campaign today!
Help me reach my fundraising goal!
