Actavis+Allergan CF Cycle for Life

FLY US TO THE CURE! Embrace your inner top gun and join us for our 10/17/2015 annual bicycle event as we ride through some of the most beautiful terrain in St. Charles County, MO. Our cyclists LOVED the rest stop at the Commemorative Air Force  hangar last year, so we moved the 2015 CF Cycle for Life Start/Finish Line to St. Charles County Smartt Field Airport!  Now all cyclists can enjoy the unique ambiance, surrounded by artifacts, aircraft and ground support vehicles.

The Actavis+Allergan CF Cycle for Life morning begins with a nutritious breakfast to fuel each cyclist for the fully-supported ride option of their choice: 25, 50 or 100 miles.  Along the course, cyclists will be treated with well-stocked rest stops every 10-12 miles, mechanical assistance, ride marshals & SAG support.  Nothing beats flying past the finish line, greeted by cheering volunteers & live music.  Cyclists will be presented with a shiny medal and welcomed into the cycle post party to celebrate their heroic efforts.  We hope you join us for CF Cycle for Life, which transforms cyclists into pilots as they navigate our quest to cure cystic fibrosis.

Minimum Pledge Requirement: $175

If you have cystic fibrosis and want to get involved in CF Cycle for Life, please contact Colleen at ccaul@cff.org. We would love to get you involved as a participant or honoree speaker at the event, or a thank you caller post-event. Because we have participants with CF riding in Cycle for Life, we unfortunately cannot have people with CF volunteer since volunteers interact closely with the riders, which may lead to cross-infection. (Please see the bottom of this page for the official CFF infection control policy.) If you have any interest in riding/speaking/thank you calling or any questions,
please call Colleen at (314) 733-1241.

Century
50 Mile
25 Mile

9 HOUR CENTURY TIME LIMIT - All cyclists must finish the Century by 4:00pm. Century Cyclists that arrive to Fast Lane Gas Station Rest Stop #4 (Mile 49.7 of Century) AFTER 11:10am will not continue onto the 25 Mile St. Paul section of the Century Ride. Instead, they will cycle back to the Finish Line (following the last 25 miles of their Century Cue Sheet), for a total distance of approximately 75 miles. Century Cyclists must reach the final Farmer rest stop #3 (Mile 86.3) by 3:00pm. All Century cyclists who haven't reached the final Farmer rest stop #3 by then will be picked up by the SAG vehicles and dropped either at the finish line or a mile before, so they can ride across the finish line.

NEW TO CF? How about a Copilot?
Copilots are families with CF who want to thank you for riding in CF Cycle for Life. They will share their story with you, along with a few photos, which you can then use to personalize your fundraising page. Riding in honor of a Copilot family will take your Cycle for Life experience to a whole new level. There is no time commitment involved in this. If you're interested, simply contact Missy Sweeney at sweeneyfam@charter.net or 314-277-8172.
