Our CF Climb Story
The 2017 Seattle Stair Climb is here!
Each year the team, Jordan's Journey, comes together in Seattle to raise money for our little girl. And this year is no different. Together we raise as much money as possible and climb 1,120 steps in hopes that one day Jordan will be cured from Cystic Fibrosis.
By becoming a member of our team and making a donation or helping share our story, you are joining a growing group of people committed to finding a cure for Jordan and all the people who live with the every day struggles of Cystic Fibrosis. This disease is not government funded, so it's up to us to raise money for research. Every dollar counts.
We are ecstatic to say that Jordan has had another healthy year. Her last quarterly checkup was her best yet. She is continuing to gain weight and her coughing is at a minimum. Jordan continues to maintain her good health by her 30 minute nebulized treatments, her vibrating vest, and staying active.... which isn't hard for a three year old!
We are so lucky that Jordan is surrounded by family members that care so much about her overall health. From Nana's everyday care to Auntie Katrina sending her a "VogMask" breathing mask when the smoke rolled in, it's comforting to know we aren't alone.
There has been a lot of strides within the CF community over the past few years, everything from new breathing treatments and drugs, to additional funding for a cure. But it’s just not enough. It's not enough until there's a cure. So if you can, join us in Seattle for the climb and/or donate whatever you can for our little girl.
Climb Today. Add Tomorrows.
All our best,
Nathan & Caitlin
