If you participated in a CF Cycle for Life event last year, your username and password will be the same. Since we have switched to a new web platform in 2013, your username and password from any year prior to 2013 is no longer valid. Please refer to the event registration document for detailed instructions on how to register.
You can reset your username and password at any time. Hover over the login button and click the link that says “Need Help?” Then, follow the prompts.
Yes! Simply use the same login information that you created when you registered for your first CF Cycle for Life event. Then, find the ride you’d like to register for and complete the registration form. When you log into the CF Cycle for Life site you will see a "My Events" button at the top, right-hand side of the screen. Click this button to visit the participant center of each event for which you have registered. There is a registration fee and minimum pledge requirement for each event.
Your team leader may not have registered yet. Contact your team leader to see if he or she has registered, or if the team name has changed.
Most CF Cycle for Life rides offer two fully supported routes that are either 25 or 65 miles long. Please contact your local chapter for more information on the routes in your area.
CF Cycle for Life takes place rain or shine. We encourage you to come prepared for any inclement weather. However, in the event of severe weather, CF Foundation staff may postpone or cancel an event.
All CF Cycle for Life events offer water, sports drinks, energy bars, lunch, snacks and more to help you sustain your energy before, during and after the ride.
There is a registration fee and a minimum pledge requirement to participate in CF Cycle for Life. The registration fee is non-refundable and does not count towards the minimum pledge requirement.
Participants under the age of 16 are not permitted to participate in CF Cycle for Life. Minors between the ages of 16 and 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult during the event, and a parent/legal guardian must sign a CF Cycle for Life waiver specifically for the minor. If a parent/legal guardian is not accompanying their child during the ride, he or she must be available by phone. Even though children under 16 are not permitted to ride, we welcome their support as a CF Cycle for Life volunteer. For more information about becoming an event volunteer please go to your event home page and click on the "Become a Volunteer" button or contact your local chapter.
All cyclists are required to wear a helmet while participating in CF Cycle for Life.
Registering as a virtual cyclist is a great option for those who want to participate in CF Cycle for Life through fundraising and training, but are unable to attend the day of the ride. All virtual cyclists will have access to the participant center to help them raise funds for CF Cycle for Life, and can still qualify to receive the CF Cycle for Life fundraising incentives and become a top rider.
If you are no longer able to ride, you can absolutely still be a part of CF Cycle for Life as a volunteer or a virtual cyclist. For more information about becoming an event volunteer please go to your event home page and click on the "Become a Volunteer" button or contact your local chapter.
Each cyclist who reaches the minimum pledge requirement will receive a long-sleeved event t-shirt on the day of the ride.
Each cyclist who raises at least $750 will receive a CF Cycle for Life event jersey. Make sure to check out the other great fundraising prizes and incentives.
Each and every CF Cycle for Life participant has the opportunity to earn great cycle prizes by raising important funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We encourage our cyclists to reach for the stars and set a fundraising goal of $500 and beyond to earn your CF Cycle for Life prize. Remember, cyclists only have to raise $750 to earn the official CF Cycle for Life event jersey.
Team tents are a great place for your team to gather before the ride and celebrate your success after the ride. Team tents are provided to top fundraising teams at CF Cycle for Life as recognition for their outstanding fundraising success. Contact your local chapter for more information on team tents.
The Circuit Series program is designed to recognize top fundraisers, and it allows riders to experience other CF Cycle for Life events. A rider who raises at least $5,000 may participate in another CF Cycle for Life ride anywhere in the country and will have the registration fee and fundraising requirement waived. A rider who raises at least $10,000 has the opportunity to participate in an unlimited number of CF Cycle for Life events in one calendar year. The registration fee and fundraising requirements are also waived. Cyclists that raise $10,000 and ride in more than two additional rides will receive the official Circuit Series jersey. Contact your local chapter for more information on the Circuit Series program.
No, you may not bring a bike trailer or tag-a-long with your bike to any CF Cycle for Life event. If you have additional needs, please contact your local chapter. Tandem bicycles, however, will be allowed.
Find your local ride and click on the “Become a Volunteer” button at the bottom of the page to submit your interest form to your local chapter, or simply register as a volunteer.
