How do I log into my account?

Hover over the log-in button at the top of the screen. Spaces to enter your user name and password will pop up.

Are my username and password the same as last year?

Yes, if you participated last year your username and password should be the same. Since we have switched to the new web platform in 2013, your username and password from prior years are no longer valid. Please refer to the Event Registration document for detailed instructions on how to register.

What if I forgot my username and password?

You can reset your username and password at any time. Hover over the login button and click the link that says “Need Help?” Then, follow the prompts.

Can I register for more than one CF Climb event?

Yes! Before you register for your second CF Climb, first log in using the username and password you created when you registered for your first Climb event. Then, find the event you’d like to register for and complete the registration form. When you log in to the CF Climb site you will see a "My Events" button at the top, right-hand side of the page. Click this button to visit the Participant Center of each event for which you registered. There is a registration fee and minimum pledge requirement for each event.

What if I want to register as a member of a team, but I don’t see my team listed?

Your team leader may not have registered yet. Contact your team leader to see if he or she has registered, or if the team name has changed.

How long is CF Climb?

Most CF Climb events take place in tall buildings, at least 30 floors, or in stadiums or arenas. Please contact your local chapter for more information on the CF Climb in your area.

What happens if it rains on Climb day?

CF Climb events will continue to take place as planned if it rains. If your local CF Climb takes place in an outdoor stadium, we encourage you to come prepared for inclement weather. However, in the event of severe weather CF Foundation staff may postpone or cancel an event.

Will there be food and beverages at CF Climb?

Yes, all CF Climb events offer water, sports drink, energy bars, lunch, snacks, and more to keep your energy up before, during and after the event.

Does it cost anything to participate in CF Climb?

There is a registration fee and a minimum pledge requirement to participate in CF Climb. The registration fee is non-refundable and does not count towards the minimum pledge requirement.

Can my child participate in CF Climb?

Yes, people of all ages are welcome to participate in CF Climb. However, children may not be carried in backpack-style carriers. Children under the age of 18 must have a signed waiver by a parent of guardian.

Are pets allowed at CF Climb?

No, pets are not allowed at CF Climb unless they are service animals.

What is a Virtual Climber?

Registering as a virtual climber is a great option for anyone who cannot participate on event day but still wants to be part of their local CF Climb. All virtual climbers will receive a link to the Participant Center to help them raise funds for CF Climb and can still qualify to receive the event shirt and climb prizes.

What if I can’t Climb at the event anymore, can I still participate at CF Climb?

Yes, if you are no longer able to do the climb, you can absolutely be a part of CF Climb as a volunteer or as a virtual climber. For more information about becoming an event volunteer, please go to your event homepage and click on the “Become a Volunteer” button.

How can I get a T-shirt at CF Climb?

Each participant who reaches the minimum pledge requirement will receive a long-sleeved event T-shirt at the climb.

How can I get a CF Climb Dri-wick shirt?

Each climber who raises $750 will receive a CF Climb dri-wick shirt. Make sure to check out the other great fundraising prizes and incentives.

How do I earn Climb prizes?

Each CF Climb participant has the opportunity to earn great prizes by raising important funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We encourage our participants to aim high and set a fundraising goal of $500 or more to earn a CF Climb prize. Remember, climbers only have to raise $750 to earn the official CF Climb dri-wick shirt.

How can I volunteer on Climb day?

Find your local climb and click on the “Become a Volunteer” button at the bottom of the page to submit your interest form to your local Chapter.
